Talented crafter: Q Branch Ltd

My shop name is Q Branch Ltd and I sell a variety of things in my shop – small teddy bears called MaBears, jewelry made of wood turned on a lathe, photo greeting cards, folk art historic reproductions, handmade neck cords for pendants.

I got into craft many years ago while in college working in silver to make jewelry. I have always had the urge to create and over the years my interests have varied, so I have acquired skills in a variety of craft media. I have been regularly selling my work for over 25 years and this has motivated me to keep creating art.

My inspiration came from many things that I encounter. I will see something that will stimulate an idea. At that moment I start turning that idea around in my head until I come up with a concept for a creation. I let it sit for awhile and then it becomes an obsession that needs to come out.

I promote my work on the Etsy forums, on several websites that I have:
www.qbranchltd.com
qbranchltd.blogspot.com
www.popgoestheneedle.com
and at whatever opportunity that comes along. I hand out business cards at craft shows that I‘m exhibiting at. I exhibit at galleries. I have been featured twice in a major NY newspaper. I belong to a craft guild. Promotion is difficult and takes perseverance.

About Emma
I think that the creativity is a gift that has to have its own freedom, the designs of my jewelry reflect my feelings and emotions, I always try to be dedicated in which I do up to being capable of saying that it is finished and therefore that it is possible to put in exhibition. I'm inspired with the colors of the nature mixed with the feelings and emotions that evoke me.
