Talented jewelry designer: shirleyscreations

I feel I have been an artist my entire life. I drew constantly as a kid and learned to oil paint as a teenager. I never got a proper education to further my skills, got married and raised two children. After a divorce I got into beauty school and some 10 years ago started making jewelry. I bought it, wore it, so decided why not make it. I started by taking things apart and then buying video’s and books and taking many classes.

I shop a lot and watched movies, always observing what people are wearing for style. Jewelry is a great accessory and it will never go out as long as women exist. I work in an office and always wear what I make to promote it and the more people I meet the more connections I make for selling. At my office people don’t have time to shop for gifts and will come to me looking for something in a pinch, I help them and it helps me sell. I still do hair but my dream is to some day have a salon and display my jewelry.

I never make just one kind of thing, most of what I make is unique in design, sometimes I am not happy with what I created from my head so I just rip it apart and start over. I do occasionally draw out an idea. I also try to make jewelry that is affordable. I find people are willing to pay high prices for fine jewelry only. That is all I can think of for now. Let me know if you have any other questions.

About Emma
I think that the creativity is a gift that has to have its own freedom, the designs of my jewelry reflect my feelings and emotions, I always try to be dedicated in which I do up to being capable of saying that it is finished and therefore that it is possible to put in exhibition. I'm inspired with the colors of the nature mixed with the feelings and emotions that evoke me.
