I present to you a talented crafter: ADKknits

My goal in designing this plum scarf was to create something really unique and beautiful, while super-practical, tough, and warm. It is hand crafted in a gorgeous plum/purple wool blend, created using a really interesting twist stitch. Featuring a super-thick double knit, it has identical pattern on both sides - tons of visual interest, and no “wrong side.” The fringe features the gorgeous plum yarn combined with a wonderfully fuzzy amethyst and darker purple. It’s really striking. Total length is just under six feet - super snugly and thick, 4 to 4 1/2 inches wide.

This lap blanket/afghan/bed scarf could even be worn as a super chunky shawl. It has a fabulous feel to it and it’s super comfy double knit in shads of forest browns. I chose two different gorgeous wool blends for the fibers - because it was designed to rest on the back of a sofa, drape over a chair, or sit at the foot of a bed, the fibers were chosen for toughness and warmth. One end is neatly crocheted, the other sports an four inch edge with an added fiber, followed by a waterfall of fringe in two different fibers and many colors. Seventy-two inches (six feet) long and fifteen-plus inches wide.

Customers on and off Etsy have been crazy about my delicious all-natural handmade olive oil, spring water, and oatmeal Castile Farm Soap - it’s vegan, with absolutely no detergents or artificial ingredients! It cleans gently and moisturizes -naturally. It’s terrific for dry skin. Handmade with rich, pure olive oil, this soap is nearly unscented, just a slight hint of oatmeal. Olive Oil prevents the loss of your skin’s natural moisture, softens skin and attracts external moisture to your skin. It helps keeps your skin soft, supple and younger looking. The olive oil is a terrific moisturizing agent, a great dry skin remedy, especially when combined with the finely ground oatmeal in these bars. The all natural olive oil base has none of the detergents and artificial ingredients that are so harsh on our skin in commercial soaps. Most commercial soaps also have removed the glycerine - the very thing our skin wants to soften and leave a protective barrier on our skin.
