• Tell me a bit about yourself

My name is Dafni and i leave in Athens, Greece. I like drawing, reading books & comics, graphic design and of course all kinds of crafts.

• What is the name of your Shop?

The name of my shop is la cravatte du chien. Well the actual name is “La Cravate Du Chien” but when i made my account i made a few mistakes.

• Please describe your creative process

I use many different materials and i make different things depending on my mood. So far I have tried with fimo clay, with beads and waxed string, with felt, with small stones and fabric.I try to sew in my machine and make small wallets and belts. Every some months i change and do something else. I think i get bored easily…

• Where do your ideas come from?

Everything inspires me. When i see a new thing or a new material i haven’t used the first thing that pops in my head is how this can be transformed to art.

• How did you get into your craft?

I was working in a jewelry studio and there i learned a lot and after that i liked it so much that i continued making things.

• Apart from creating things, what do you do?

I work in an advertising company as a graphic designer.

• How do you promote your work?

I promote my work through My deviantart page, through Facebook, twitter, talentdatabase and on the forums here on Etsy. I don’t have a blog yet because even tho i know a lot about computers i still fell totally clueless with this. But I’ll get to it someday!
